DESCRIPTION OF TOWN: Hysham is the treasure county seat. Hysham is a very small agriculturally oriented town. There are some basic services such as a gas station, convenience store, and café. Billings is the largest city in Montana. Billings provides all major services, including medical facilities, shopping, and an airport.
RECREATION FACILITIES: The Yellowstone River is located about 12 miles north and it offers great fishing, and good waterfowl hunting. Mule deer, whitetail deer, elk, pheasants, and wild turkeys are commonly seen. Some antelope are in the area.
